Voices

Like hands-
probing solitude
pawing their way through quiet
Voices-
suffocating thought
stifle emotions in words
Like insects-
whining, buzzing
swarms around my brain
Like claws-
plucking at skin
flinging webs of inanity
Voices-
smothering screams
in polite ‘yes’ and ‘no’.

This is a beautiful micropoem :) Less than 55 words but so very meaningful.

How does one manage to say so much in just 55 words. Amazing!
